The Czech Republic is arguably best well-known in some circles for having some of the tastiest and cheapest beer in the world, there is far more to this Central European gem its long and rich heritage brewing the amber nectar. For one thing there is Prague! In terms of city aesthetics Prague is pretty hard to beat. Virtually untouched during World War II (unlike many other major European cities) there are parts of the city that seem to whisk you back in time. With narrow cobble-stoned streets and artisan shops galore, it truly is a wonderful city to explore at a leisurely pace and one that constantly throws up little treasuress to the persistent and observant pedestrian.
